The Chronic Illness Challenge


According to the CDC, 6 out of 10 Americans live with at least one chronic condition, and 4 out of 10 manage two or more. An empowering reality is that many of these conditions are entirely preventable or even reversible through simple (not easy!) lifestyle changes—including nutrition, stress management, and nervous system regulation. As a nervous system coach, I’m here to guide you in harnessing the body’s innate capacity to heal, adapt, and thrive — helping you restore balance and reclaim your health from the inside out.

Menopause in America

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, menopause is celebrated as “the second spring”—a transformative period marked by renewal, increased wisdom, and a new flow of energy. It is a natural stage of life that offers an opportunity for growth and self-discovery.

However, in recent years, Western culture has often viewed menopause with fear and a sense of loss of control. This disempowering perspective can lead the body into a cycle of stress and overprotection, amplifying symptoms and making this life transition more challenging.

As a nervous system coach, my goal is to help women embrace this powerful phase, supporting inner harmony, resilience, and empowering you to move through menopause with grace and confidence.

 
 
 
 

The Power Restore Method

Move from surviving to thriving

Drawing on over 10 years of experience and ongoing education in health coaching, nutrition, brain retraining, restorative yoga, Qigong, and nervous system care, the Power Restore Method offers a holistic, personalized approach to healing.

My focus is to support individuals dealing with chronic illness (diagnosed or undiagnosed), anxiety, weight challenges, or an overstressed nervous system in rediscovering their balance and wholeness.

Every healing journey is unique. With the Power Restore Method, we honor your individuality—considering your genetics, lifestyle, environment, and belief systems. Our work together is a mindful exploration of these factors, helping you release old stories and limiting beliefs, and empowering you to trust your body’s natural capacity to heal and thrive.

 

What the Power Restore Method Looks Like:

 

■ Initial Health Assessment

■ Get to know each other and identify main areas of concern

■ Two (2) 75-minute sessions per month for six months (this can be flexible), including:

■ Goal setting and progress tracking

■ Summaries and resource sharing

■ Support navigating healthcare providers, if needed

■ Physical exercises including yoga, qigong, and breathwork

■ Accountability support

■ Custom healing playlists (because fun is important:)

■ Support between sessions via text (this was invaluable for me)

1. Primary Foods: Exploring lifestyle elements such as work-life balance, stress, and media consumption

2. Secondary Foods: Understanding the role of nutrients, diets, and the use of herbs/supplements

3. Nervous System Regulation: Examining the role of the nervous system in overall health

4. Brain Retraining and Neuroplasticity: Rewiring patterns and reinforcing resilience

5. Detoxification: Clearing physical and mental “clutter” to restore balance

6. Energy Work: This encompasses a wide range of practices focused on understanding and nourishing the body's energy flow to promote balance, healing, and overall well-being.

7. Restorative Yoga: Supporting nervous system balance through nourishing physical practices

8. Breathwork and Qigong: Cultivating mindful breathing and energy flow

9. Resource Access: Connections to trusted professionals, books, courses, and tools
